What is Panacur 10% Oral Suspension?
Panacur 10% Oral Suspension is a multi-species, ready-to-use fenbendazole wormer (100 mg/mL) for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms in horses, cattle and sheep. In horses it covers large & small strongyles, pinworm, ascarids, stomach/hairworms and bots (see SPC for full list).

Dosage & Administration
Horses (single-dose routine):
1 mL per 13 kg bodyweight (= 7.5 mg/kg fenbendazole). Example: 400 kg → 30 mL. Mix with feed or drench.
Horses (encysted small redworm / migrating large strongyles):
5 mL per 64 kg once daily for 5 days (= 7.5 mg/kg/day × 5).
Cattle (oral drench):
1 mL per 13 kg bodyweight (= 7.5 mg/kg).
Sheep (oral drench):
Follow SPC table for weight-band dosing (product label).
Accuracy matters: Weigh animals where possible and check drench-gun calibration before use.
Withdrawal Periods & Food-Chain Restrictions
Cattle: meat 12 days; milk 120 hours.
Sheep: meat 15 days; milk 168 hours.
Horses: not to be used in horses intended for human consumption.
Stewardship & Safety
Use as part of a vet-advised plan (FEC-based) to reduce resistance. Shake well before use. Keep away from watercourses and dispose of waste responsibly.
