What is Eqvalan Duo?
Eqvalan Duo oral paste combines ivermectin (1.55% w/w) and praziquantel (7.75% w/w) to treat mixed cestode (tapeworm), nematode (roundworm) and arthropod (bots) infestations in horses. Effective against large & small strongyles (incl. intraluminal L4), Anoplocephala tapeworms, ascarids, pinworms, lungworm and bots.

Dose & Administration
Dose rate: 0.2 mg/kg ivermectin + 1 mg/kg praziquantel (= 1.29 g paste/100 kg BW), single oral dose.
Set the ring to the horse’s weight (100 kg steps on 600/1100 kg syringes; 125 kg on 750 kg).
Give over the tongue; raise head briefly to swallow.

Safety & Use Restrictions
Foals: safety not established < 2 months — do not use. Not recommended in stallions (no safety data).
Pregnancy/Lactation: may be used after the first 3 months of gestation and during lactation; earlier use only on vet risk–benefit advice.
Withdrawal: Meat/offal 30 days; not authorised for animals producing milk for human consumption.
Environmental care: extremely dangerous to aquatic life — prevent entry to watercourses; dispose via approved routes.
