What is Noropraz?
Noropraz 18.7 mg/g + 140.3 mg/g Oral Paste combines ivermectin and praziquantel for broad-spectrum control of nematodes, cestodes and bots. Indicated for large & small strongyles (incl. non-inhibited mucosal larvae), Parascaris, pinworm, hair/stomach worm, lungworm, tapeworm (Anoplocephala spp.) and Gasterophilus larvae.

Dose & Administration
Dose rate: 0.2 mg/kg ivermectin + 1.5 mg/kg praziquantel (≈ 1.07 g paste/100 kg BW).
How to give: set the plunger ring to bodyweight, place paste over the tongue, then hold the head briefly to swallow.

Syringe: 7.49 g (up to 700 kg). Multi-packs also exist (2, 12, 40, 48, 50 syringes; availability varies).
Safety, Restrictions & Withdrawals
Do not use in foals < 2 weeks.
Withdrawal: Meat/offal 35 days; not authorised for animals producing milk for human consumption.
Pets/environment: keep dogs/cats away from spilled gel/used syringes; prevent entry to watercourses (ivermectin is extremely dangerous to aquatic life).
Stewardship
Use as part of a vet-advised plan based on FECs & risk. Macrocyclic-lactone resistance in Parascaris has been reported—avoid under-dosing and frequent repeat use of the same class.
